The action plan of Tartu Lotte Kindergarten defines the main objectives, activities, and development priorities for the academic year. The theme of the 2025/2026 academic year is “Nature Gives Strength to Be”. Academic Year Objective To guide children to notice, understand, and care for nature, and to recognise its importance in everyday life. Quality Agreement Objectives The kindergarten values the local community by using the urban environment as a learning space and by promoting environmentally friendly thinking. Active learning, playful activities, and a child-centred learning approach are implemented. The Green School Programme Our kindergarten is part of the Green School programme, which supports the development of children’s environmental awareness and environmentally responsible values. As part of the programme, topics such as nature conservation, waste reduction, a healthy living environment, and sustainable consumption are explored.
